DALLAS, TX: Playoff preview | Postseason play is looming

Could there be any surprises in the last two weeks of regular season play that change the look of playoffs? In week 6 after their win against the Backyard Allstars, the Shockers have snuck up to tie the Downtown Hoopers for the 3rd place standing. The first 2 spots in the rankings for DAC are still steady with the Massive Jammers leading, followed by Los Cabras. In their shared third place standing, Downtown Hooperz and the Shockers have a 4-2 record. All of these teams have steady, consistent players who show up to win.

There is some anticipation for next week when the Shockers go up against Los Cabras. If they pull out another shocking victory it would mix things up for the playoffs. In the final week of regular season play they will face the winless Washed Up. Would heading into the playoffs with a 6-2 record give the shockers any momentum towards some playoff wins?

And lets not forget about the Backyard All-stars. After taking the DAC championship last season they are not going to sit back and let that title go so easily. With two weeks left and coming off a loss to the Shockers in week 6, they will be hungry to win next week.
