MONTVALE, NJ: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

For a change, the Ballerz don't seem to have any question marks

Are we getting to the point where we expect the Ferrall Ballerz to win every game? Does a Ballerz-Lane Train title game seem inevitable? And what’s happening to Old School?

Once again, the Ballerz came to play and didn’t disappoint. In control seemingly the whole way through, they disposed of Old School. Strangely enough, it appears the two-time champions are now the ones facing the most questions.

Old School has looked characteristically strong and downright mediocre through different parts of the season. Perhaps there is another issue at hand. Last week vs. USDA Prime, a scuffle ensued that has sparked a league-wide investigation. Is Old School unraveling?

It was Ferrall with Billy Allen and Mike DeLuca before Wednesday's action on the conspiracy/controversy/nonsense. While they weren’t thrilled to discuss, here’s what happened.

Speaking of ugly, things just took a negative turn, quite literally, for RUNt. Mike Kern sprained his ankle in the first half of a loss against Lane Train. Despite being shorthanded themselves, Lane Train took advantage and pulled out win number four. Big game for Nick Bigos.

Is Kern done for the season? Is RUNt done? They’ve got the Ferrall Ballerz next week, so that’s another potential step in the wrong direction.

On the other side of things, perhaps USDA Prime has flipped a switch after last week and moved out of the bad category. They more than doubled-up the Bergen Tropics, who are now firmly in the cellar. In fact, it was Tucker Diestel 31, Tropics 28! Even the truly sorry Splash Brothers scored 21 more than the Tropics…and they lost by nearly 30! You get the picture.

Don’t get too excited though, USDA. You’ve got Lane Train next week.
