Mastro posts triple-double; eyes playoffs



The final week of the regular season consisted of double-digit wins for four teams. Coast 2 Coast (4-4), Hooligans (8-0), UnStuck (7-1) and No Mercy (4-4) won by a combined average of 26.3 points over their opponents.

Top performers from Wednesday are led by Dustin Abbate's career-night of Coast 2 Coast. The 6'0" guard poured in nine three-pointer (9-14 3PT) en route to a 41-point outing. Hooligans forward Stefan Schwartz had quite a night himself, posting 37 points on 18-21 shooting from the floor. Michael Mastro of UnStuck "messed around and got a triple-double" with 21 points, 24 rebounds and 10 assists. The dynamic forward recorded seven blocks in the contest, as well. No Mercy's Matt Disbro filled the stat-sheet with 14 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and five steals.

Recap: Coast 2 Coast (85) vs. A-List (74)

A half-time tie led to an eventual double-digit victory for Coast 2 Coast over A-List (1-7). Abbate's 41-point performance - including an onslaught of three-point flurries to begin the second-half - anchored Coast 2 Coast on Wednesday. The team out rebounded their opponents 39-21, as well. Julian Delvasto was the high-man for A-List with 24 points. Delvasto was active on the floor with five rebounds, six assists and five steals in the ball-game.

Recap: Hurricanes (52) vs. Hooligans (101)

The 49-point win for Hooligans put a stamp on their undefeated season. Schwartz had himself a night with 37 points, doing most of his damage around the rim. Chris Frey posted 22 points (10-19 FG), nine rebounds, five assists and three steals as Jay Harris added seven points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and two steals in the win. Hurricanes (4-4) were led by Shawn Marshall's 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Teammate Mark Pnini added six points, seven rebounds and five assists in the losing effort.

Recap: UnStuck (81) vs. Bad Boys (59)

UnStuck turned a five-point half-time advantage into an eventual 22-point victory behind Mastro's emphatic performance. Guard Garrett Johnson finished with 21 points as Eddy Bhatia added 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists for UnStuck. Bad Boys (3-5) were led by Brett Leitner's double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Recap: Wack-Pack (51) vs. No Mercy (74)

Once again, a strong second-half was enough to put away a team as No Mercy got rolling to begin the final 22 minutes of play and never looked back. Disbro's versatile performance and Ming Wang's 34 points and were enough to help seal the deal against Wolf Pack (0-8). David Hammer was the high-man for Wack-Pack with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
