PHOENIX, AZ: Round 1 Recap | Bad Guys Bad Guys what you gonna do??

ROUND 1 RECAP

The First round got off to a fantastic start last night in Scottsdale. Only 3 of the top 4 seeds from Scottsdale will be advancing to the Elite 8.

We saw a huge upset as #7 seed Bad Guys went on the road and put a beat down on #2 seed Phx Ballas last night. Star forward Tyrone Jones was nowhere to be found on the most important night of the season and it costed the Ballas their entire season.

However the #4 seed Pink Canoes were able to survive a overtime thriller with out their star forward Seth Robinson. Luckily Danny Dziezic came through in the clutch pouring in 46 points for the Canoes, if not we would have seen 2 teams from Tempe advancing...

The #3 seed Supersonics cruised to an easy win led by their star forward Darrin Dorsey. Kenny Mahone had another monster night for the Monstars with 49 points but did not have enough help on the offensive end. The Supersonics/Bad Guys match up next week should be interesting..

Team to Beat got a little scare as the Wolves were able to keep the game within 10 for most of the game. However TTB's talent and firepower was just too much to handle for the Wolves.
