With the addition of two Ultimate Hoops vets in Charles (C-Dub) Williams and Laslo Reed, Old School looks primed to finally make a championship run this fall; at least on paper. This team is championship hungry after so many failed runs in the playoffs over the past few seasons. Laslo and Charles are no strangers to lack of championships in Plano either. This duo, along with Stan Cavin, were part of a long running Soldiers team that could never quite get over the hump during a run of multiple seasons of regular season success.

With all the talent that encompasses this roster, it is no surprise to me(well at least at second glance) that this team owns the highest overall payroll in the league this fall. However, if championships were played out on paper, it wouldn't be a very exciting season. Ultimately, this team will always have the talent to make a run at a title. What this team needs is that one X Factor to step up and push them over the edge.

Mike Swisher and Stan Cavin have been absolute rocks for Old School over the past few seasons. Mike Swisher is a magician working the paint as well as the baseline while Stan Cavin is one of the most complete players in the league with the potential to drop a triple double on any given day. I look at players on this roster like Cecil Hood that have the potential to open up the floor along with Matt Minich

While Old School may have flown under the radar in previous seasons, this team with an $84 million payroll most certainly will not. From lights out shooting by Cecil Hood and Charles Williams to high flying acrobatics by Laslo Reed, expect this team to make a lot of noise as we move into the thick of the season. They will command attention during the regular season run, however, come playoff time everyone will say "Show Me the Money."
