ATLANTA, GA: Week 1 Preview | Huge trade just hours before tip off

With this being the first season of draft league, it will be quite interesting to see how players will gel together and the strategic moves GM’s will make throughout the season. GM’s have the right to trade any player on their roster up to week 6 of the season. The question remains will any GM wheel and deal any of theirs players during the season to make a strong push for the championship? So far we have already had a big time move as Chris Anderson was traded just hours before tip off for Mishkat Lightwala and David White.

Team BG vs. Known Shooters 7:30pm

This game will start off the season and according to the draft, Team BG made some questionable draft picks. It will be interesting to see if any of their picks will pane out. I am doubting his team quite early and do not believe that they have what it takes to compete in this league. I could be wrong but I doubt it. If Bryan “ Mr. Real Estate” Gates can coach his team in the right direction and show them how to play team basketball, than they have a slight and I do mean slight chance.

Known Shooters looks extremely strong according to the draft and have many players that have played together. On paper this team looks championship ready but as we all know the game is played on the court not on paper. With a sneak pick of Thomas “ The Saver” Lemons this team looks promising.

Prediction: Known Shooters by 18

Team Follies vs. Gawd Squad 8:30pm

Team Follies made a few risky draft pick that can either help them or hurt them. This team has what it takes to win a championship and since they are defending champs, they will have a bulls eye on their back. With the leadership of Doug “ Mr. Detroit “ Rhodes they will go as far as he leads them.

Gawd Squad made some strategic draft picks but the question is how long will it take for everyone to gel. This team is my sleeper team of the season and if teams take them lightly then they will be shockingly surprise by the outcome. I feel that Gawd Squad will take a few weeks to get in the flow of things but will make a strong case mid season.

Prediction: Defending Champs (Team Follies) by 9
