COMMERCE OPEN: Predictions | Ben Kil and company looking to give Dat Aint Fair their first loss

McKinsey Golfin after talking to the ref

We are nearing the end of the season and this is the time to fight for your playoffs spot. With only one team undefeated this could get real interesting.

7:00 p.m. – C4 (3-2) vs. Rock City (0-5)
In week 1 C4 pulled out a 104-50 victory over Rock City. However, C4 is currently on a 2-game losing streak and will be looking to get back on track against the last place team in the league. This is not good news for Rock City who has given up over 100 pts in 4 of their 5 games so far. Look for the shooters of C4 to get back into a rhythm with a big time offensive explosion.

C4 115 – Rock City 68

8:00 p.m. – Sons of Basketball (2-3) vs. Running Rebels (3-2)
The Running Rebels started off 0-2. Sons of Basketball started off 2-0. Since then, the Rebels have gone a 3-game winning streak and Sons of Basketball a 3-game losing streak. Sons did pull out a big 90-71 W over the Rebels on opening night, but these teams are in much different places now in week 6. The Rebels will hold onto 2nd place in the league with a hard fought, low scoring victory over Sons in week 6.

Running Rebels 68 – Sons of Basketball 61

9:00 p.m. – Squad (2-3) vs. Dat Aint Fair (5-0)
Squad has come a long way since a 44-pt week 1 drubbing at the hands of DAF. Winners of their last two games, including an impressive 18-pt win over Sons of Basketball, Squad has a chance to gather some serious momentum and make a playoff push. In the first of a 3-game gauntlet (DAF, C4, RR) I don’t see Squad having enough to dethrone the undefeated defending champs just yet. McKinsey Golfin, Vaughn Gray, Darryl Foster, and Bill Treece are still too much for Ben Kil & Co. Prove me wrong young fellas.

Dat Aint Fair 91 – Squad 86
