COMMERCE 17U: Kyle Attisha defends title | Young Gunners win second straight championship

Kyle has done something that no other player has done in the history of our league and that's repeat as champions. With there being a new draft every season, Kyle was able to assemble the right players again to defend his title.

In the semifinal matchup, they took down MVP Delano Smith, in a thriller that went down to the buzzer. The championship game also went down to the wire against Shark Attack.

Shark Attack came into the playoffs as the lowest seed and made it all the way to the championship round. With so many weapons on the offense end, they posed a threat to every team all season and clicked at the right time.

Shark Attack found themselves leading by 15 points in the second half, but the young gunners never gave up. Anton Lucaj and Kyle Attisha put the team on their backs and willed them back in the game to ultimately win the game for them. They combined for 58 of the teams 73 points.

With a new draft approaching, will Kyle be able to assemble another championship caliber team? Guess we will have to wait and see. Until then congratulations to the Young Gunners, back to back champs.
