SHELBY VET: Power Rankings | Pistons and Raptors, Face Off For Final Playoff Spot

Pistons in a timeout.

1. Nets (5-2) Have won 4 straight games, they have been the hot team in the last two months, and Vaughn Gray continues to perform very well averaging 27 points a game. Heading into the playoffs they are 2nd in points and 1st in rebounds. They are a very well defensive team, with an explosive offense at times.

2. Bulls (5-2) Still one of the top teams in the league, they are 1st in scoring, leading the way for them in that department is Bill Treece who has been having a very nice season. The Bulls are still the team to go through, to win the title this year despite loses to the Thunder and Nets.

3. Thunder (4-3) A forfeit last week set them back a little, but when this team is here and ready to play, they are a dangerous team. They have the talent, but can they take it to the final game? Shawn Graham still leads the team in scoring with 20.2 points a game.

4. Pistons (3-4) Right now in a tight position heading into tomorrow’s game. They will face off with the Raptors, winner gets final playoff spot. Jason Sawinski leads the team in scoring with 26.3 points a game, they are a solid team, with a lot of experience and depth, but will neeed everyone to show up if they want to make a playoff run

5. Raptors (3-4) Raptors have a big game tomorrow needing a win to take the final playoff spot. Jeff Wertz has been dominating of late, averaging 30. 2 points a game. They will need him to keep on continuing his play, if they want to make the playoffs.

6. Lakers (1-6) Not a good season for the Lakers, they will need to rebuild this roster, find themselves a guard, and another depth player. They will miss the playoffs.
