1. Nets (4-2) On a three game winning streak, the Nets have been the hot team lately. Vaughan Gray leads the team with 25 Points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists a game. They are ranked 1st in rebounds, and points allowed. This is a defensive minded team, and it has shown as they have climbed back into the 1st spot in the standings.
2. Thunder (4-2) They are ranked 1st in points and 1st in assists, the thunder, who missed the playoffs last season, are playing very well this season, and are a threat heading into the playoffs. Shawn Graham leads the team with 20.2 points a game, while Deandre Cottrell has been averaging 8.5 points a game, and 6.3 assists a game. This team is on the right track, and are a legit contender in the race to the championship.
3. Bulls (4-2) Solid team still, but loses to the Nets, and Thunder, hurt. Even though it doesn’t mean nothing in the regular season if you make the playoffs. This is still the team to beat, and when they are playing very well, it’s very hard to take down this team.
4. Pistons (3-3) At a solid .500 right now, they have the talent to get the job done, but will need to give Mckinsey Golfin a lot of help, as he leads his team in scoring, and is the only best option to score. They are still a good team, and can be a dangerous one, if not taken seriously.
5. Raptors (2-4) Jeff Wertz has been this whole team so far, averaging almost 30 points a game. They are still in it for that final playoff spot that the Pistons hold. They will have to win out and hope for Pistons to lose in the final two games.
