Kansas City, MO- As Ultimate Hoops moves towards the 500 team mark by the end of 2011, the question of who the best team in the nation gets more contentious.
Looking at the National Power Rankings for Week 7, one team is head and shoulders above the rest in the UH Nation.

Finishing Week 7 with a 82-54 thumping of the Runnin' Rebels, to stay unbeaten with a 7-0 record, the Celtics posted a 646.8 Power Ranking score. The 646.8 is nearly 100 points higher than #2 ranked The Franchise of the Algonquin UH league in Chicago. The remaining Top 10 teams include three teams from Houston, three from Minnesota, one from Chicago, and one from Dublin, OH.
In the Recreational Division, the undefeated Celtics of the Fridley Ultimate Hoops League in Minnesota lead the nation with 146.4 score. The #2 ranked Rainbow Warriors are a full 20 points behind the Celtics with a 126.7 score.
You can expect members on the Minnesota Recreational Division post-season tournament selection committee to be reviewing the Power Rankings to help determine their selections for the 16-team tourney. Expect plenty of controversy when the teams are announced for the June Madness Spring Season tourney.
