COMMERCE, MI PREP 14U: The Race For First Place Is Heating Up

With each team being so evenly matched each game has been a nail bitter and given us our best season yet. The reason for that is because of the Draft Rule. Many young players want to stack their teams and beat on other teams, but we enforced the Draft League to make all teams fair and in return it makes them better players and the league evenly fair. There's still no clear cut favorite to win it all this year but if I had to put my money on a team it would be Shift Team.

Shift Team is a prime example of a complete team. They get it done one both sides of the court ranking second in points scored and points allowed. They have the Speed to out-run any team, and best of all they have Gero Kayayan who has been unstoppable so far this season. Gero is also in the run for this season's MVP award.

The one game they have lost this season was against The Money Team and it went down to the wire and I expect them to be prepared to dismantle every team come playoff time. But the road to the championship is tough and don't expect any of the other teams to just let them walk away with the title this season. Let's see if they can withhold the pressure.
