RECORD: Minnesota's Peter Clark sets new Recreational Division single-game scoring record with 69 points

Bloomington South, MN- The single-game Bloomington South Recreational Division record of 63 points set by former UH player Johnny Webb has been challenged all season.

On Wednesday night, the record was finally toppled.

In the Riddlers 120-74 win over the Wolfpack, Peter Clark, (at top) the Riddlers sharp-shooting forward, scored 69 points, including 16-of-34 from behind the arc, to become the new National single-game scoring king for the Recreational Division.

Riddlers point guard and franchise GM Nick Roell set up Clark all game, finishing with 13 assists to go with 15 points and 13 rebounds for his first triple-double since November 17, 2010.

Coming into the game, Clark's scoring-high this season was 20 points. In the last two games, Clark is a blistering 22-of-45 (49%) from behind the arc. Clark's career scoring-high prior to his 69-point performance was 32 points against the Generals in Spring Season 2010.

Webb's previous record of 63 points was nearly surpassed earlier this season by the Bobcats Derek Batiste, who scored 62 points against, yes the Wolfpack, in Week 5.

With Clark's shooting the last two games and his 69-point record breaker, expect Clark to receive plenty of attention from defenders come playoff time.
