ALPHARETTA, GA: Week 5 Power Rankings | Enough Said Continues to Dominate

Can BG turn things around for Mumford Returns.

We are in week 5 at Alpharetta Ultimate Hoops. The defending champs Enough Said have defeated every team so far in the Spring league. They look to keep their winning ways going in week 5. With another loss in week 4, can the Spartans hold on to the number 2 spot?

1. Enough Said (4-0)

Enough Said comes in at the top spot. Last week they defeated the Spartans without big man Anthony Brown, and their leading scorer Marcus Brown only playing in the second half due to some bad traffic in Atlanta. They should have their full team back this week which means their next opponent may be in some trouble. Once again they look to be in total control of the Alpharetta league.

2. The Late Starters (2-1)

The Late Staters are coming off a dramatic overtime win last week against Team Follies. Derrick Orr continues to have a great season averaging 25 points a game. For The Late Starters to take the top spot, they will need everyone on the their team to play at a high level. This week they play two games in one night. They will have to have some extra wind in order to get it done.

3. Spartans (1-3)

The Spartans have dropped one spot. I'm starting to wonder if they will ever have their full team together. If they don't have their big man Adalius Thomas, it will be tough for them to contend for a championship. Right now the they are just trying to find a way to get a little chemistry with all their new pieces.

4. Team Follies (2-2)

Team Follies remains in the fourth spot. Team Follies needs to figure out how to put a full game together . Either they play a great first half or second half. I expect them to put it all together this week after coming off a tough loss last week. They almost pulled out a game winner against The Late Starters, but ended up falling short in OT. They have already equaled their loss count from all of last season.

5. The Mumford Returns (1-3)

The Mumford Returns added Sharp Shooter Bryan Gates and now they are feeling confident. They have a big test this week against Enough Said . We will see what they are made of as they look to defeat the defending champions. If they can get another big game from Mike Hattub they may have a chance.

6. Free Agents (1-2)

For the Free Agents to get out of the bottom spot, they need to bring a better defensive effort. If they don't they will have trouble winning another game this season. They will need team captain Brian Richardson to bring his a A game this week. I'm not sure they will be able to handle two games back to back. It could be a long night for the Free Agents.
