COLORADO SPRINGS, CO: Week 3 Power Rankings | A Tale of Two Teams
Nothing but smiles in Colorado Springs
We are already in week 3 in the Colorado Springs Ultimate Hoops spring league, so let's take a look at the power rankings.
1. The Conglomerate (2-0): The defending champs have looked very impressive in their two victories, winning by an average of 38 points per contest. Desmond Martin has been dominant this season, averaging 28 points and 12 and a half rebounds a game.
2. The Decision (2-0): After taking a season off, the defending national champs are back and ready to take back their Colorado Springs crown. Anthony Byrd has led the balanced attack for The Decision, averaging 18 points in their two wins.
3. Team Colorado (1-1): It's not a coincidence that Team Colorado is undefeated when Demetrius Nixon is in the lineup. He dropped 28 points in their 22 point victory over Free Agents. Look for this team to make some noise moving forward.
4. Hand Down Man Down (1-1): There has been a little turnover for this roster, a team that is no stranger to Ultimate Hoops in Colorado Springs. They lost a tough one to The Decision last week, but look to bounce back this week against Free Agents.
5. Hawks (0-2): This is another team filled with UH veterans that will make each game tough for their opponents. The early going has been rough, but once these guys learn how to play as a team, they should make some noise in Colorado Springs.
6. Free Agents (0-2): As is with all free agent teams in Ultimate Hoops, the early going has been rough for this team. This team is loaded with a lot of UH newcomers, and Andrew Reed leads this squad in, literally, every statistical category possible.
