COMMERCE, MI PREP 17U: Players Looking To Shine This Season
Armando Suleiman Telling Us His Team Is Number 1
This past week we kicked off another season in our 17 and under division. With the high school basketball season over, many players are back and this season has the most talent to date! With the talent evenly distributed amongst each team there's no clear cut favorite yet, but as the season progresses let's see who rises to the top.
Here's a look at a few of this weeks top performers.
Anton Lucaj- Anton is always a MVP candidate and this season will be no different. He's arguably the hardest player to guard in the league. He attacks the rim with reckless abandon and can also shoot the deep ball.
Calvin Dado- Calvin started up right where he left off a few seasons ago. The long ball didn't fall for him in his first game, but he was able to find other ways to score. Scoring 32 points and grabbing 18 rebounds, Calvin will be difficult to contain all season.
Armando Suleiman - Armando and his team rallied from down 18 to come back and steal a victory. He caught fire from three, sinking eight for the game and finishing the game with 31 points.
