COMMERCE, MI PREP 14U: Sonny Dunez Are Looking To Make A Statement

We kicked off our Prep 14U League campaign last week and this season will be a good one! We have a few youngsters returning after ending high school basketball for the high schools and looking to stay in shape and play with some friends competitively during the offseason. Each team looks solid and has a chance to contend for this seasons title, but no team looked better that Sonny Dunez in week 1.

They were very impressive in their week one victory against The Money Team. The play of the dynamic duo of Sonny Asker and Giavino Murad couldn't be stopped as their practically took turns dismantling their opponents. They combined for 45 of their teams 52 points and were able to keep the opposing teams best player under wraps all game.

With still a long season ahead of us its to early to have them as the favorites to win it, but I do believe they will be in contention for this seasons title. Each team is stacked with talent and the road to the championship wont be a walk in the park for any team. As the season progresses, we will see which teams are playoff caliber teams.
