SHELBY REC: Y-Lie Fight Back , Beat House Of Skillz In OT With Tyrone Jordan's Buzzer Beater.




Performance Fiber Glass keeps rolling and continues to play very well. They went up against All or Nothing this past Wednesday. Coming into the game All or Nothing were on a role, coming into the game 4-1 as well as Performance Fiber Glass. It was a tough day for All or Nothing, as they couldn’t get into a groove all game, shooting .38 percent from the field, with Jawuan Dogget the only one scoring in double-digits, with 10 points. For Performance it was all Marcus Anderson, with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and getting four blocks in the game. Mckinsey Golfin, added 16 points with 6 assets, and 4 stealS also. Performance now improves to 5-1 of the season.

FINAL

House of Skillz went up against Y-Lie for our second match-up. Last time these teams met, Y-Lie downed them in the playoffs to move on to the finals. Y-Lie was slow out the gate, shooting very poorly in the first half. Skillz were hitting their shots, playing well, but couldn’t fully take advantage of Y-Lies poor shooting, being only up by 9 by the end of the first half. Y-Lie stormed back to tie the game up in the second half to force it to overtime. In overtime It was once again tied going into he final seconds, when Tyrone Jordan hitting a NBA range three pointer before the buzzer to win the game. Y-Lie improves to 3-3, much needed back to back wins, to get them back in the playoff hunt.

Monstars couldn’t catch a break yet again; they lose to Bad Intentions in this one. Dequan Wilson led the way for Bad Intentions with 26 points, and 5 assists. Bill Tull was also solid, with 20 points, 8 boards, and grabbing a couple of steals as well. Juwan Watson for Monstars had 15 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, and had 5 blocks , but wasn’t enough, as they fell short to monsters.

Mountain Moon Shooters looking to get back on track since they lost to Y-Lie by 3 points the previous week. Bruno Kalaj led the scoring with 26 points for Mountain Moon Shooters; behind him Robert Berishaj had a solid game, with 16 Points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Walk-Ons, survived though Mountain Moon Shooters rally. Sully Youanis led the Walk-Ons with 20 points and 20 rebounds. He was all over the place in this game. Gary Donevski, and Johnathan Combs combined for 31 points. Walk-Ons after dropping three straight, finally get a win, still keeping their spot in the playoffs.
