COMMERCE, MI REC: What Is An Upset

In the world of sports, the term “upset” is thrown around like a Frisbee. When you hear upset, you think of the impossible or improbable. Now a days the term is so loose that an upset can be Kentucky losing to Duke. That’s not really an upset; Or in the NBA Finals last year, the Spurs beating the Heat. That was not an upset either. That brings me to this.....as we get closer to the playoffs in Ultimate Hoops, will there be any upsets in this seasons playoffs?

If the playoffs were to start today we would have some very exciting match-ups! But which one would you consider to be a true UPSET?

SONS OF BASKETBALL VS YOUNG GUNS
C4 VS RENT- A- BOUNCE
RUNNING REBELS VS ONE UNDER
HIT SQUAD VS WEEKEND WARRIORS

Looking at this I wish the playoffs did start today! Out of all of these possible first round match-ups, in my eyes there is only one game that I would say would be an upset. If the Sons of Basketball and Young Guns were to stay in their perspective places for the remainder of the season and the Young Guns were able to win that game, that would be an upset. What would make it a bigger upset is if Sons finished 8-0 and Young Guns finished 0-8, and then went on to beat Sons…that would be an Ultimate Upset! No pun intended.

With 3 weeks left in the season, I guess only time will tell if there will be an “upset”
