FINAL

Pistons and Thunder squared off in our second game, down most of the game, it was a neck and neck battle late in the second half. Down by two points, with 9 seconds to go, Pistons turned over the ball on the inbound pass to Jason Pitts, who immediately found DeAndre Cottrell, for a three point attempt to win the game, but couldn’t knock it down as it hit the back of the rim. It was a tough loss to swallow. Jason Pitts had 23 Points for the Thunder, but wasn’t enough to get the win. Mckinsey Golfin led the Pistons with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Bill Treee, Bill Tull, and Craig Bond also contributed all three scoring gin double-digits. Pistons advanced to 3-1 of the season.

FINAL

Our final match-up of the day, had to top teams going at it. The intensity of this game, the emotion, the energy, was surreal, I felt it on the sidelines, these teams wanted to beat each other. The Bulls were into it and into it all most all game. The Nets were down majority of the game, but when the Nets came back to almost tie the game or take the lead, the Bulls went on another run. Jeff Wertz was unstoppable, 20 points in the first half, finishing with 38 points was impressive. Shooting the ball .59 percent from the field, and going 7-11 from the three pointer, also capturing 6 boards Jeff Wertz came to play, and came to win. Other notable performances, Marcus Anderson, who is still impressive, 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks, has been a huge asset for the Bulls. The Bulls now improve to 3-1 and hand Nets their first loss.
