COMMERCE, MI PREP 17U: Team Armando Off To A Rough Start
Armando and Angelo Go Heads Up
Well I don't think anybody saw this coming. GM Armando Suleiman is having his best season stat wise of his career, but Team Armando is still winless early in the season. They have lost every game by at least double digits and in their most recent game, they where completely destroyed losing by 49 points. Adding insult to injury, it came at the hands of Armando's younger brother, Angelo Suleiman, who was sizzling from downtown.
Angelo scored a career best 20 points, knocking down four threes to win bragging rights in their household. Armando will have to figure something out with his team if they want to get back in the playoff race. Perhaps a little more ball movement would go a long way, as Armando is averaging 28 shot attempts a game while only scoring 27 points per game. With those type of stats the question that dawns on us is; Is Armando playing for stats or wins? Hopefully after he reads this article he will get his team back on track for the remainder of the season.
