COMMERCE, MI REC: C4 Does It Again Without Their X Factor

Through all the ups and downs they have faced this season, they got it together at the right time and again sit atop the Ultimate Hoops world as this seasons champions.

The road to any championship is tough, but with all their players not showing up to every game and the loss of Wally Salman for the season no one expected them to make it this far. Squaring off against Rent A Bounce wouldn't be an easy game. They came into the championship game as the underdog for the first time ever.

Rent A Bounce came out scorching as they always do hitting ten threes in the first 12 mins. Going into the half C4 found themselves down six and simply had no answer for Rent a bounces offense. The second half was a different story as they stopped trying to trade baskets and played great defense for the remainder of the game. Brandon Nafso applied great defensive pressure on Sean Mattia and made every shot tough on him. He was able to turn a few steals in to fast break points to seal the game for C4 as they went on a 10-0 run and ultimately ended up winning the game by 15.

With our new season starting in one week and teams already making building their rosters, what will C4 do to repeat as champions? Reports are that Justin Nafso may be rejoining them next season. But that's next season and for now they carry the crown as the Fall League Champions
