COMMERCE, MI REC: The Beast In The West

Through out the past three years we have not seen a small forward be able to compete with the big trees of the league. While big men are hard to come by, this season Sons of Basketball not only have the trees on their team, but the have the beast. Standing 6’3 230, Toriano Adams is a force to be reckoned with. In his first season in Ultimate Hoops, he has impressed a lot of vets in the league and has taken the league by storm.

Adams may not look like the kind of player who will can carry a team himself or even go for 30. But once you step on the court, you will soon find out. He knows how to use his size and strength to his advantage. He throws around his 230 pounds like its nothing, and if you get hit by one of his shoulders going up for a rebound or trying to take a charge…GOD BLESS! You will definitely feel it in the morning.

In 6 games this season Toriano is averaging 22 points, 13 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1 block per game. He feels up the stat sheet every game. He leads his team Sons of Basketball in every statistical category except for assists. Adams is a walking double double. No one has found a way to slow him down as of yet. His lowest scoring game so far came in a lost to C4, where he had 15 points and 14 rebounds.
