Darius Statum is back from a season hiatus from Ultimate Hoops and he has brought back his team back to the league. This teams looks to be one of the deepest teams he has ever had. The only question that remains for this team is how long will it be before they self-destruct?

The Sons of Basketball are back and are already claiming they will win the championship. The franchise has only won 1 championship, and that just so happen to come when a lot of the top teams had major injuries. So, in essence you can consider them to be “paper champs.” This team has a lot to prove and Statum has improved the front line. He has added Joel Simpson, Reggie McKeldin and Brian Mills. The team has also added 3 point specialist Chris Mills and defensive specialist Ashton Pitts.

Sons of Basketball is the biggest team in the league, and they should be able to compete and get key defensive stops when needed. Offensively could be a struggle, we all know Statum is going to lead the charge, but that can be a gift and a curse. If he is feeling it, chances are his teammates won’t see the ball much. Darius says he is a changed his ways, and after his first game he may be right. He has been averaging 10 assists a game for the past 3 games. That’s right….10 ASSISTS!
