COMMERCE, MI PREP: Team Rami Promises Not To Lose Anymore Games
Rami Shamo And Josh Isso Supposedly Talking To Their Agents
With high school basketball right around the corner the prep league took a little bit longer to get going this season. Some players did not want to play, with thoughts of making their high school team. We reconstructed the season so that they play two games a week so that way we finish in time for their tryouts. This draft took a new toll on the season. With a few of the top players asking to be in the draft as captains there were many amazing first round picks. In the season opener many thought that the duo of Josh Isso and Rami Shamo would be unstoppable, but the road they thought would be easy was quickly diminished. I don't think anyone saw this coming.
With Rami possibly having his worst game in his ultimate hoops career, they didn't stand a chance against Anthony Qarana and Anton Lucaj. The duo couldn't be guarded as they took turns scoring at will, combining for 42 of their teams 58 points. In their second game the barely won by a point. Some say they should have lost the second game also due to the foul that was called that would have sent the opposing team to the free throw line, and possible to win the game.
This season is shaping up to be a great one. Now sitting 1-1, Team Rami now knows that there is some tough competition this season. Are they still the favorites to win it all this season? Or will their cocky attitudes coming into the season come back to bite them?
