COMMERCE, MI REC: Friends Turned Enemies

The moment that we have all been waiting for is finally upon us. it is time for the main event and it is a big surprise not to see C4 apart of it this season. They took a tough loss to Elite Hit Squad, but they were missing three of there players so I am pretty sure that the outcome would have been different, but that is a different story. Elite Hit Squad has a big match-up tomorrow night, not only is GM Devante Pennyman looking to capture his first title in Ultimate Hoops, but he is going against his close friends, who he has called enemies for game night.

For as long as Elite Hit Squad has been apart of ultimate hoops they have always kept the nucleus of their roster and tried to fit pieces in that they thought would be compatible. Loss after loss in the semifinals each season forced two of their cofounders, Darius Smith and Clyde Lang to part ways joining One Under with hopes of winning a championship this season. Both teams had tremendous seasons and the scenario we all only dreamed of is now reality. Hit squad will take on One Under for this seasons championship.

This group of friends have been close for almost ten years, but I can guarantee you that it won't be evident come Thursday. Players Devante Pennyman, Xavier Lang, Darius Smith, and Clyde Lang have been playing for almost three years and a championship is long overdue for all of them. Bragging rights are up for grabs in the Lang household as these two brothers will face off against each other and bragging rights within their group of friends is also up for grabs.

Both teams will give it their all and leave everything on the court. Which team will call themselves summer 2014 champions? All guests are encouraged to come watch at 9pm, an epic showdown.
