COMMERCE, MI PREP 14U: First Champions Crowned
Brendan Ammori and Taylor Pattah Crowned as First Ever Champions
As fall approaches and school begins there was still some unfinished business in the Prep 14U league, a champion still needed to be crowned. The season has been highly contested and each playoff team had an MVP candidate that was ready to lead his team to a title. The champs have now been crowned and Team Taylor is the first team ever as champions in the Prep 14U league.
That championship game had everything you'd want to see out of a final game. With multiple lead changes and the game coming down to the final minutes, these two teams did not disappoint and showed exactly why they had made this far. But one final push down the stretch by Team Taylor, led by Taylor Pattah was the deciding factor to put them over Team Gino. Team Taylor was led by GM Taylor Pattah who put up 22pts and grabbed 19 rebounds.
Team Taylor now holds the crown and will have a target on their backs next season. With a new draft coming for next season will Taylor be able to assemble another championship team? Can they repeat? Or will there be a letdown? We will find out together.
