COMMERCE, MI REC: Good Luck Little Brother

Justin Nafso Commits To Rochester College

For many of us here in the Ultimate Hoops community we have watched players get better by the season, and eventually become great players in this league. Over the last 4 years we have watched the development of one of our younger players become an all-around better athlete and person on and off the court. We all looked at him as our littler brother and taught him some things along the way. With that being said, we would like to recap our little brother Justin Nafso’s career with Ultimate Hoops as he prepares for his freshman year of college basketball at Rochester College.

Over the course of Justin’s career in UH, he has averaged 21 points per game, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. He has played in 3 of our leagues; Preps League, 6FT and Under, and most recently Recreational League. Justin has always played in his older brother Brandon Nafso’s shadow, and he has now grown into his rival when they played against each other in the 6FT and Under league. Justin is averaging 29ppg on 50% shooting from the field in that league. In Justin’s senior season at Walled Lake Central High School, he averaged 14ppg, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. Along with those stats, he was selected to the 1st team All KLAA North team and an All Oakland County Honorable Mention, while leading his team to a divisional and district championship.

Justin has been known to be a threat anytime he is on the court here at Ultimate Hoops Detroit. He has been nominated as the top three best guards every season. He has helped his teams win multiple championships in the Prep, 6FT & Under, and even C4 in the Rec league. Let’s hope he is a threat when he takes his talents to the next level. All of us here would like to wish our little brother Justin good luck in his freshman season at RC, where he will begin a new journey in his basketball career playing under head coach Klint Pleasant.
