Every season there is only one team that can hoist that gold trophy and call themselves champions. The road to a championship is always difficult, but this team continued to fight every week until, which in return rewarded them as this seasons Ultimate Hoops Prep Champions. Not only has Team Jacob been crowned champions before, but since they lost last season, GM Jacob Hailo made sure his took back what truly belonged to him.

At the beginning of the season Team Jacob did not look like themselves losing their three out of four games. Team Jacob did not give up though. Every game they lost was a close one, but at the end a loss is a loss and it doesn’t matter how much you lose by. GM Jacob Hailo promised his team that they would make it to the playoffs and not only did he deliver his promise, but he over delivered and brought home the gold. Jacob was supposed to be done because of school, but at as a leader he made sure he was there for his team when they needed him.

With their stifling defense and fast paced offense they would cruise to an easy win over Team Nick 55-50 for the championship. It was a tough loss for Team Nick, but I can promise you that they will be back next season and they are my pick to win it all. This is Team Jacob’s second championship in four seasons, but sure doesn't look like their last, unless the Floor General Jacob doesn’t come back.
