SHELBY OPEN: Championship Preview

The Championship game is this Monday, and it is sure to put a show for the viewers at Shelby lifetime. White Out and Skillz will face off, in this much anticipated match-up.

Skillz
- A team bent on power, strength, with players like Sam Mauldin and Blake Cushingberry, they are a force to be reckoned with. Skillz is ranked 1st in Rebounds and these two men are the reason why. With like Lawrence Binekowski, John Anderson and Justin Cushingberry. Vaughn Gray as many weapons to go to, as he commands this skillz to a victory this Monday. Skillz are ranked also 2nd in scoring, and 2nd in steals, a team that can burn you and take advantage of your turnovers.

X-Factor: Vaughn Gray
Vaughn Gray remembers what happen last time he went to a big championship game. Winter season, against 2Deep (Magnolia’s Finest) Vaughn Gray tried forcing stuff, trying to make plays that weren’t there. Vaughn Gray wants to win, and he will do whatever it takes, but emotions cannot overcome him, he needs to get his team going first, make plays through his assets.

White Out
-Besides their forfeit on September 9th, White Out is on a roll, they have been playing well. With the return of Ryan Nelson, who still isn’t 100%, this team is still dangerous with Brent Wichtner, Mike Knapp, and Brian Olley. Very good on defense, ranking 2nd in points allowed and 1st in blocks. Their team that will make your work for your points, and give you 4 quarters of fight.

X-Factor- Drew Schneider
Drew has been averaging almost 10 points a game, very low from his 14.6 points a game he had the previous season. Drew Schneider is the x-factor this game, he needs to have a big game, especially on the offensive side. He can be a threat, and with all the attention on Brian Olley, Brent Witchner and Ryan Nelson, this is a game he needs to shine if he and White-Out want to win the championship.

Prediction
White Out- 75
Skillz-68
