Magnolia’s Finest suffer another defeat to the hands of Skillz. Vaughn Gray shined with 23 points, 11 assists, and 5 steals. Skillz three point shooting was on fire, hitting 17 three pointers, while Magnolia’s Finest suffered only hitting 4 out of their 22 attempts from beyond the arc. Without John Sinsihtaj, or Sean Mattia, it showed as their shooters were unavailable for the matchup against Skillz. Magnolia’s Finest had 18 turnovers, and Skillz didn’t let up, and took advantage of those opportunities, pulling away in the 3rd and 4th quarter to rout Magnolia’s Finest. Both teams secure their playoff berths, but can they stay in as the final four starts in three weeks.

It was a must win for Y-Lie, they already beat White Out before, and with one more, they would have secured a playoff berth, but White Out took a huge win Monday, defeating Y-Lie and eliminating their chances to make the playoffs. Brian Olley and Brent Witchner led the team, with 41 points combined. The whole team was in double-digit scoring. It was brick city for Y-Lie, shooting a whopping .30 from the field, and .29 percent from the three. Getting on a run was a problem for Y-Lie, and without Rashad Phillips, it made much difficult going up against White Out.

The Truth ended Performance Fiber Glasses playoffs hope this past Monday. Despite .38 percent shooting from the field going 6 for 16, Zef Deda put up 19 points, with 6 assists in their win. With the Departure of DaShaun Wood and Drew Maynard, The Truth held their ground, played very well, and edged Performance Fiber Glass. Evan Wilson had 21 points, and Jamier Mix with 24 points, as they led Performance in scoring. Mcknisey Golfin had 17 points, but the leading scorer in all of ultimate hoops wasn’t his usual self, only going 1 for 9 from the three, and going 6 for 16, with a low shooting percentage.
