COMMERCE, MI PREP: Who Will Receive The Title This Season

Two Of The Three MVP Nominees Jacob Hailo And Joseph Denha

To be named the most valuable player of the league is a honor that only some players have experienced. We are now more than half way through the season and the superstars of the Prep League are really taking over. The MVP race is always a tight one in this league, but this season we have some new standouts making a name for themselves. These players are fighting to claim this title every night they step on the court.

Jacob Hailo (Team Jacob) - A former defending league and finals MVP there is no surprise that this guard is on this list. This season has not been the follow up success that he expected though. Putting up amazing scoring numbers byaveraging 22 points per game is going to be always tough for a team to guard. Not only does he score, but due to his amazing hops he is grabbing 13.8 rebounds a game.

Nicholas Kassab (Team Nick) - This guard continues to show why he is a perennial MVP candidate. Putting up big numbers with his 21.2 points per game on 42% shooting and 39% from the 3-point line, but making sure that it leads to team success and with a 4-1 record. Team Nick looks poised for a title run. This guard is seen as the best floor general in the game and he has done nothing this season to dispel those thoughts. He is trying to make up for lost time due to his time off for his knee injury.

Joseph Denha (Team Joey) - This monster has been dominating all season. A beast on the boards averaging 9.4 rebounds a game; he is a key factor for his team. His team is sporting a 1-4 record so far and if they plan on making some noise in the playoffs his contributions will be much needed. This beast will not let the team down, his energy and effort is contagious and cannot be contained. If he plans on capturing a title he needs to make sure his team doesn’t lose another game.

The MVP has never been tighter and it will come down to the wire. Who do you think will be named MVP? Only time will tell.
