COMMERCE, MI 6FT & UNDER: Most Overrate & Underrated Players

Lawrence Arabo Hanging Out With Emilio Aboo Before His Game

Not every player on our league can be a legitimate superstar. While most players strive to earn their place among the league's elite, the reality is that some are overrated and some are completely overlooked. We are talking about the players who have been lauded by their teammates or opponents who are not realistically deserving of the accolades.

This list is not meant to be a prediction of future success. It is a look at the players who have received far too much credit and those who haven't received nearly enough.

Most Overrated

1. Jordan Jeberaeel - Missed layups and random shot selection are a consistent diet in this players game. He draws plenty of fouls seeing that no player can stay in front of him, but has yet to make a free throw in three games in 10 attempts. On a brighter note, Jordan has the potential to be one of the best players in the league if he just sticks to the things he does best.

2. Pierre Savaya - Pierre is another player who has a lot of upside, but spends to much time arguing with the refs while his man is scoring at the other end. As the captain and Gm of his team he needs to lead by example. Shooting a dreadful 29 percent from the field (23% from three) has his team off to a 1-2 start.

Most Underrated

1. Lawrence Arabo - Lawrence is one of those players every team wants. That X-factor player whose not the greatest, but can do some of everything of the court. He's the player who always goes unnoticed, but fills up the stat sheet. With Brandon Nafso demanding a double team, Lawrence finds himself being the beneficiary on many plays. His 14 points and 5 rebounds a game are no small contribution.

2. Malik Esho - On a team headlined by two of the league’s best, Lance Shamoun and Phillip Nelson, this team really needed a guy who could lock down an opponent’s perimeter threats. His versatility and energy off the provide the spark that his team needs when opposing defenders lock onto Lance.
