COMMERCE, MI PREP: Nick Kassab Is Back & Better Than Before

Injury is an athletes worst nightmare. Unfortunately it happens to the best of us and it happens at any age. Being an adult we understand what we need to do to recover, but when it happens to young stars it can ruin their dreams. Luckily, our Prep Superstar Nick Kassab did not let his injury play a mental factor like injuries have done to others.

The preps league features a solid group of young stars, all ready to make their mark and show their talents. The most noticeable of these youngsters has been Nick Kassab from Team Nick. This kid suffered an ACL surgery early last season which required him to take the season off, but he is back and better than before. He has unlimited range, extending beyond the NBA line and also an "and1" machine. Nick is back from his season ending injury and looking to claim a championship this season.

He is the third leading scorer thus far this preps season averaging a solid 19 points per game and 4.5 assists per game while leading his team to 2-0. Nick is also leading his team in almost every statistical category, which includes steals, rebounds and assists.

This has been an exciting season to this point with all the teams playing hard and competitive basketball. Who’s going to be crowned the Ultimate Hoops Champs? Only time will tell but for now we are looking forward to watching these young stars and their teams compete. Keep an eye out for Nick as he looks to lead his team to a deep playoff run ending with the preps league championship trophy in his hands.
