Drew Maynard and The Truth took care of business Monday night, as they went up against Magnolia’s Finest. Drew Maynard was on fire, going 17-20 from the field, hitting 6 three pointers, dropping 45 points on Magnolia’s Finest. Dashuan Wood pitched in with 19 points and also dishing out 6 assists. The Truth only had 2 turnovers in the game, handled the ball very well, and looked much quicker on the transition, and also getting to the basket. The Truth is now the only team to stand undefeated this season.

With only four teams able to make the playoffs, Y-Lie has put themselves in a hole, losing both of the games to start the season. Performance bounced back after a not so great outing last week. Performance’s Mckinsey Golfin scored 26 points, with 6 assists and a couple of steals. Jason Sawinski also returns, making his debut for the summer season, as he puts in 12 points. Rashad Phillips drops 30 points but wasn’t enough, behind him Tyrone Jordan and Johnnie Brown both contributed with 14 points each.

White Out comes alive in week 2, as they led all the way through in this one, defeating Skillz. Brent Wichtner hit for 26 points, while Ryan Nelson put in 14 points behind Wichtner. White out controlled the tempo of the game, kept in under their pace. Skillz made a comeback, only down four in the final minutes of the game, but fell short to White Out.
