SHELBY VET: Treece lights up Nets for 51 points




Lakers spoil Bulls season opener, the defending champions come up short by two points. Larry Bienkowski dominated with 30 points, shooting 10-15 from the field. Rob Jabara make his return to ultimate hoops with a solid performance grabbing 8 boards, and dishing out 3 assists. It wasn’t all Bienkowski, as Jeff Manoski pitched in with 28 points, knocking down four beyond the arc in this impressive win by the Lakers.

When it rains it pours, but when it pours it becomes a flood. Bill Treece hits for 51 points, Nets had no answer for Treece as he controlled the tempo on the court, scoring with no regard of anyone standing in his way to do so. Val Juncaj makes his veterans debut as he records a double-double scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 boards as Already Home scorches the Nets.
