Final Four Preview

Performance Issues (1) VS. 2-Deep (4)

Performance Issues came out of the first round, with an eighty-five to seventy four win over the Wildcats. Impressive game from Jason Sawinski, shooting seventy-one percent from the field, scoring twenty-four points with Mckinsey dishing out ten assists in their win. This week, is one of their most challenging opponents they will go up against, 2-Deep. 2-Deep going undefeated this season, is the favorite to win it all. 2-Deep ranks first in points allowed and rebounds per game. With a strong duo of John Sinishtaj and Frank Gojcaj, 2-Deep shines bright, with a nice team built around these two to get the job done. The last time these two teams met, 2Deep just got past Performance Issues by eight points, in a tightly contested game. Performance Issues is a much different team since their week three matchup. Performance ranks 2nd in scoring, with the shooting ability of all its players. With a team that always seems, to find themselves during this time of the season, has shown it once more, and can be a real threat to the undefeated record of 2-Deep.

Prediction:

Mcknisey Golfin faces a huge game where the tempo of how the game goes needs to be controlled by him. His weapons in Evan Wilson, Bill Treece, and Steve Maceri, shooters at the three pointer, must rally around Golfin in order to make a huge upset knocking out the undefeated 2-Deep. Shooting Percentage is key in this game for both teams. A high scoring game will be expected as both offenses have well-rounded shooters. This is a must watch tomorrow night, as the final four starts off with an Undefeated team, taking on Shelby’s Defending Champions.

House of Skills (2) VS. YLie (3)

Last week, there was no holding YLie back, a dominating performance start to finish. YLie came out running, playing at a high intensity, and the results showed. The sense of urgency was there, knowing what was at hand in that game. With talks diminishing about YLie winning the championship after losing three straight games at the end of the season. YLie’s game did the talking and replied not just yet. This Week they face a bitter rival in House of Skillz. They played twice this season, with both teams winning against each other. They face off tomorrow in another great match-up at Ultimate Hoops in Detroit. House of Skillz who had a rocky start in the first half of season at one and four, finished strong with a four game winning streak ranking first in scoring. YLie has had their number in the playoffs defeating them, but this is a different Skillz team. Both teams are hungry, both teams want it, this game will show that hunger as they battled it out.

Prediction:

YLie needs that same intensity as they did last week but not only that, they need to match it against House of Skillz as well. Vaughn Gray and the House of Skillz are an explosive team, and if you can’t keep up, you will be left behind. Shooters like Anthony Amabile can be a nuisance to defenses having a playmaking point guard in Gray, and also Adam Kaminski.
