FRIDLEY, MN: What Happened to Noisy Withdrawal?

Went a perfect 6-0 last week and now have a chance to go 7-0 this week.


Rip'n Vs. Bandits

The Bandits have a good thing going and need to keep it going into the game against Rip'n. A win here would all but lock up a playoff spot. The way they can get this win is making sure to keep Rip'n off the offensive boards. If you let Anthony Thompson get in range of a rebound he is most likely going to come down with it. If you let him get too many of those this game will be out of hand for the Bandits.

I really want to say that the Bandits are going to win this game and get the quality win that they need, but I just think that Rip'n's two bigs are just going to be too much.

Cobra Kai Vs. Secret Agents

If you like to watch mismatches at almost every position on the floor this is the game for you. Also if left unchecked Luke Sontowski might have 50 fast break points.

Celtics Vs. Ninja Turtles

The Turtles have been playing the type of the ball that have made the Celtics the team to beat for so many season. They are playing defense first. When you play good defense the offensive side of the game comes much easier as you get more odd man rushes and fast break points. This used to be how the Celtics played ball. They turned defense into offense. Also they used to get out on fast breaks from every imaginable opportunity. It must be interesting to see what they have done for so many seasons being done by another team.

Unless the Celtics can get that old spark they will get beat by the type of ball that they are so familiar seeing from their own players.

Hand Down... Man Down Vs. Fob Five

Hand Down...Man Down need this win if they want a shot to make the playoffs. Luckily for them Fob Five plays at a pace that favor HDMD. It is no secret that big man Ahmed Helmy doesn't want to play a game that is fast paced up and down the court all day. But with Fob Five game style he won't have to. If both of these teams play at this pace HDMD has the advantage.

I really don't think that Fob Five has the players to run a fast break style of game. Which means they will have to try and beat HDMD in the half court and I just don't think that will happen.

Noisy Withdrawal Vs. Avengers

This was supposed to be the game of the season, but with the last two game Noisy Withdrawal has played it is just another game. If Noisy doesn't pull themselves together this game could be another blow out. They were getting it done on both sides of the court during there five game run. Now they aren't doing it on either. What has changed in the the last two weeks? Has anything changed? Were the teams they beat just not all that good? Maybe we will find out this week when they play the Avengers.

Five guys for both games for the last two weeks. I know the Avengers are good but that is tough for any team. If they don't show up with more than five guys this week Noisy Withdrawal might get some open looks and if they do they will be able get out of their slump and might make a game of this. If they show up with six or the full seven and stay focused on defense I think this game should be all theirs.

Greenhorns Vs. Bulls

The have looked dominant since their loss against the Celtics. This could be bad news for the rest of rec. if they get there full roster back like the rumors say they will. As one of the most talented and athletic teams in the league the only way I see that they could lose this game is if they beat themselves. If they stay focused on the game and don't look past the Greenhorns this game should be over quick.

Bandits Vs. Avengers

The Bandits couldn't have a better chance to beat the Avengers. If the Avengers don't have their full squad or play with just five in the game before this one they are going to be very tired. I know that the Bandits have played a game earlier but they won't be playing 88 minutes straight.

Will this be enough for the Bandits? I don't think it will be. The Avengers are very talented and they should be in good enough shape to beat another team that is less talented and slightly less tired then they are, but the game should be much closer.
