BLOOMINGTON SOUTH, MN: Play-In Games/Playoff Field Set

Controversy abounded in Maple Grove on Sunday night when the Ultimate Hoops Players' Committee held a special session to determine the playoff field for this year's playoffs.

At-Large Bids and Play-In Games

When the arguments ended and the dust settled, the at-large bids were given to:

#1 - Bobcats (B South)
#2 - Unicorns (B South)
#3 - Showtime (Plymouth)
#4 - Hand Down, Man Down (Fridley)
#5 - Blue Devils (Plymouth)
#6 - D.Y. Nasty (Fridley)
#7 - Blue Chips (B South)
#8 - Black Mambas (Fridley)
#9 - Respect the Game (Fridley)
#10 - Noisy Withdrawal (Fridley)

The Bobcats and Unicorns will automatically advance to the field of 16, while the remainder will play in Bloomington South on Wednesday night:

7 P.M.: Showtime vs. Noisy Withdrawal
7 P.M.: Hand Down, Man Down vs. Respect the Game
8 P.M.: Blue Devils vs. Black Mambas
8 P.M.: D.Y. Nasty vs. Blue Chips

Tournament Field
The Players' Committee also voted to seed the remainder of the playoff field. The top-16 will be:

First round games will be played Thursday night in Fridley.
