COMMERCE 14U: Predictions | Only 2 spots remaining for the playoffs
Sebastian Karcho drives past John Bahnam
Two weeks left in the regular season and two spots left for the playoffs. Which two teams want it more? Lets take a look at this weeks match-ups.
5:00 p.m. – Mice Men (5-1) vs. Team Sonny (0-6)
What better way to get healthy off of your first loss other than to play Team Sonny the week after. In week 2, this matchup was a 20 pt margin. With a Mice Men team angry coming off a loss, I think this one gets ugly early and often. Phil Qarana goes off for 30 getting Mice Men back on their winning ways.
Mice Men 70 – Team Sonny 39
6:00 p.m. – Payroll (5-1) vs. Bulls (3-3)
The Bulls have won 3 in a row but none of those wins have come against the top 2 teams. This week they have a chance to show they belong with the big boys. Sadly though, they will probably just get steam rolled like the first time these two teams played (66-35 Payroll). The Bulls are going to have to shoot a lot better than the 15% from 3 pt land on 26 attempts if they don’t want to get embarrassed against.
Payroll 64 – The Bulls 49
7:00 – Young Ballers (2-4) vs. Sneaker Heads (3-3)
This game has big time playoff implications with The Sneaker Heads in 4th place and The Young Ballers on the outside looking in at 5th place, just one game behind. Last time they faced off The Sneaker Heads won by 17, however, they are currently on a 3-game losing streak. I’m betting that the Sneaker Heads snap out on their funk, but this game will be much, much closer than the first matchup.
Sneaker Heads 60 – The Bulls 59
