COMMERCE 14U: Predictions | Can Payroll deliver an upset

Issac Shounia with the two points over four defenders

The matchup everyone has been waiting for between the undefeated Mice Men and Payroll. Word on the street is Mice Men is missing their Captain which can be a big loss. Lets take a look at the matchups for the week.

5:00 p.m. – Mice Men (5-0) vs. Payroll (4-1)

In the first matchup, Mice Men destroyed Payroll 63-47 but in the past 4 weeks both teams have gone without a loss. Payroll has been looking forward to this matchup since week 1 and plays Mice Men much closer this time. However, Phil Qarana is out this week and their #1 ranked offense AND defense might move to 5-1 this week with the upset.

6:00 p.m. – Team Sonny (0-5) vs. Young Ballers (1-4)

The Young Ballers must have this win to remain in playoff contention and Team Sonny must have this win to avoid the embarrassment of a season with no W’s. Sonny Asker put up 25 points in the two teams last matchup, however, his team lost by 19 pts. In somewhat of an upset, I’m taking Team Sonny to get their first win of the season.

7:00 – Bulls (2-3) vs. Sneaker Heads (3-2)

A huge game for seeding in the playoffs as nobody wants to face off with the Mice Men in the semi-finals. The Sneaker Heads have been exposed after a 3-0 start, losing handily each of the last two weeks to the top 2 teams in the league. On the other hand, the Bulls, after an 0-3 start have won two in a row. I’ll take the Bulls getting revenge for their week 1 loss (58-54) creating a tie for 3rd place.
