MISSISSAUGA, ON: Game Notebook Week 6 | End of the Day

Week 6 in UH Mississauga had a lot of emotion in the gym. Another Toronto undefeated team is beat today and seems like teams are starting to show that anyone can beat anyone when they have all their players connecting.

Game 1 - Renegades vs Spartans
Game 2 - Force vs ALL DAY
Game 3 - Gains vs Team Havoc

Game 1
Game 1 of week 6, Spartans vs Renegades. Renegades looking for revenge from week 1 when they faced off. Renegades was missing their star player Jeremy Alleyne however Elvis Hermiz and Kyle Saldanha really stepped it up this game.

Kyle Saldanha kept his team alive hitting threes from all over the place. He hiot 6 threes giving him 18 points for the game. Elvis stepped it up even farther hitting 7 long threes and attacked the basketball and he finished with 29 points and 6 rebounds a great performance to help keep his team in the game.

Spartans had wonderful teamwork throughout the team especially between Youssef Daif and Naji Mejalli. Youssef repeatedly grabbed defense rebounds and threw across court passes to Naji again and again this game. Naji finished with a big 39 points and 7 rebounds and Youssef had a double double not including points. He had 18 rebounds and 10 assists, very selfless this young man. Jordan Nazarene and Ryan Zarrabi also played well scoring 14 and 11 respectively. Spartans beat Renegades 83 - 57.

Game 2
The game of the night upcoming Force vs undefeated ALL DAY. This game surprised most of us with ALL DAY having a bad start to the game.

Force's Daniel Deflorimante, Asif Jassani and Abdu Casey and Fady Salama really shined this game. Moving the ball finishing plays and doing great in transition Force was able to overwhelm ALL DAY at their own game. Daniel had the most this game with 24 points, Asif Jassani hit down threes and hustled on the boards and had 17 and 7. Abdu had plenty of coast to coast plays and played smart ball and Fady had a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Manuel Mendez for ALL DAY was the only one of two to score above doubele digits scoring 15 points. He really tried to help keep his team in it. Travis also fought hard finishing with 10 points 5 rebounds. They didn't have their main facilitator Nathan Carter which seemed like it hurt them a little. They didn't play with as much team work as we are used to seeing them play with. Force defeat ALL DAY giving them their first lose 66 - 37.

Game 3

Kareem Toney and Gains versus Ashar Gul and Team Havoc. Gains still coming for blood from there previous lose last week and lost of one of their best players Mohammed Sayeed.

Kareem Toney and Mustafa Manzoor both hit double digits this game scoring 17 and 15 points respectively. Mustafa Manzoor was hitting from beyond the ark scoring 5-6 from threes and grabbed in 6 rebounds. Kareem continued to attack the basket and hit multiple mid range stop and pop jumpers. They were the only two to score in the double digits.

Team Havoc played solid this game and actually had more turnovers then the Gains and had a and time as well. Ashar Gul had a career high scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds and Ahmed Haroon despite having foul trouble had a double double, scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. Team Havoc really does click when they have all their players. Team Havoc take it over Gains 55 - 48.
