COMMERCE 14U: Predictions | Team Sonny on thin ice
Julien Essak and Avante Alyass before their game
Team Sonny season life is on the line. His team needs a win bad. One playoff spot is locked in and 3 are still open. Let's see who plans on winning this week.
5:00 p.m. – Team Sonny (0-4) vs. Payroll (3-1)
Team Sonny needs to win this game and the rest of the season if they plan on making playoffs. My thoughts are that Alex Kashmika (17.8 ppg, 17.5 rpg) and Payroll are going to roll over Sonny Asker and his crew in the first game of the night. Payroll wins by double digits.
Payroll 75 – Team Sonny 60
6:00 p.m. – Bulls (1-3) vs. Young Ballers (1-3)
This is a huge game for playoff implications as the winner will hold the 4th and final playoff spot and the tiebreaker over the other team. The Young Ballers haven’t tasted victory since week one and The Bulls are coming off a win last week. In a game of poor shot selection, Joseph Hermiz (Bulls) and Angelo Suleiman (YB) will see who can jack up more threes in this game. This game is a coin flip as both teams struggle offensively with shot selection but I got to pick someone. I pick the Bulls.
Bulls 51 – Young Ballers 50
7:00 – Mice Men (4-0) vs. Sneaker Heads (3-1)
Based off of their records this should be a close game, however, the Mice Men have proven to be a step above every other team in the league. If the Sneaker Heads want to be taken seriously as a contender, they can’t get blown out in this game. Phil Qarana (27.5 ppg) and crew don’t care and win by 20…at least.
Mice Men 65 – Sneaker Heads 45
