COMMERCE 17U: Predictions | Splash Squad stepped up to make me look foolish

Marcel Kassab talking to his captain Anthony Qarana prior to his game

Two weeks ago floor general Armando Suleiman made a promise and so far is keeping it but I think this is the week Armando Suleiman and Splash Squad lose since his guarantee…right?

5:00 p.m. – Poon Patrol (3-0) vs. Splash Squad (2-1)

OK, so Armando Suleiman predicted he wouldn’t lose again last week and then I picked against him. His team won big making me look foolish. However, up against 3-0 Poon Patrol, a team with the top statistical defense in the league, can he do it again? Once again, I don’t think so. Poon Patrol moves to 4-0 with a big W, separating themselves from the rest of the league in first place.

6:00 p.m. – The Ballers (0-3) vs. Bad Boys (1-2)

This is a must win for both teams at this point in the season if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Ballers and Billy Sharrak (22.3 ppg) will put up a fight, but in the end Anthony Qarana (24.3 ppg) and crew will be too much for them too handle. Bad Boys in a close one, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

7:00 p.m. – Mini Mamba (1-2) vs. Sand Storm (2-1)

Sand Storm’s only loss comes at the hands of PP (3-0) and look like a clear top 3 team in the league so far. Mini Mamba is going to have to find someone else other than Julian Kamposh (30.3 ppg) to step up and score if they come to take down SS. Rami Shamo (72% FG, 21.7 ppg) and three other players scoring in double figures will be too much for Mini Mamba as they fall to 1-3.
