COMMERCE 14U: Predictions | Someone has to win right?

Issac Shounia after the tough two points in the paint

Sarcasm alert: Finally the matchup we have all been waiting for! Team Sonny (0-3) vs. The Bulls (0-3). Someone has to win…right?

5:00 p.m. – Mice Men (3-0) vs. Young Ballers (1-2)

The Mice Men are currently winning their games by an average score of 69-43. This does not bode well for the Young Ballers which has essentially become Julian Essak trying to work a miracle from week to week while Angelo Suleiman throws up 28 shots a game at a 27% clip (yikes). The Mice Men and Phil Qarana (25 ppg, 12.7 ppg) will not be challenged this week and move swiftly to 4-0 setting up a monster game next week vs. The Sneaker Heads.

6:00 p.m. – Bulls (0-3) vs. Team Sonny (0-3)

This is a game where one of these teams could turn around their season and make a run for the playoffs. Neither team has yet tasted victory, however, a win today by either team will have them tied for 4th place and in a playoff spot. After playing the Sneaker Heads very tough in week 1, the Bulls have been a disaster, culminating in a 41-pt loss last week. Team Sonny was very competitive in a loss last week and will get that first W this week behind a huge game from Sonny Asker (32.3 ppg, leading scorer in league).
Team Sonny 65 – Bulls 56

7:00 p.m. – Sneaker Heads (3-0) vs. Payroll (2-1)

The Sneaker Heads are 3-0, however, they have beat the worst three teams in the league, two of those games by only 4 pts over winless opponents. While I would love to see them win this week setting up a 4-0 v. 4-0 showdown next week, I just don’t see it happening. Payroll has won their last two games by 31 pts and 22 pts, respectively, and will give The Sneaker Heads their first loss Monday night. Franse Baka and Alex Kasmikha will combine for 35+ pts in the victory as Payroll moves into 2nd place.
Payroll 64 – Sneaker Heads 61
