MINNESOTA: Final Four is set for Spring Season Recreational Championship


The ball was tipped at Bloomington South Wednesday night



BLOOMINGTON SOUTH- It was a night of blowouts in the Great 8 of the Minnesota Spring Season Recreational Tournament on Wednesday night at Bloomington South.

#6 seed St. Baul outrebounded #3 seed Greenhorns 40-25 in their big 74-57 upset win. Ryan Samuelson led St. Baul with 25 points. St. Baul will now face the #2 seeded Wizards tonight in Fridley after the Wizards knocked off the #10 seeded Avengers 72-60. Michael Byrne was dominant on both ends of the floor, finishing with 20 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks.

The big showdown in Fridley tonight will be the #1 seeded Celtics vs #5 seeded Bobcats. Both teams were big winners on Wednesday night.
