Enough Said vs Team Follies 8pm

The pressure is more on Enough Said as they are chasing the history books, to become the first team in Ultimate Hoops to be a three peat champion. The road will be tough as Team Follies will battle with them all night to get the win. Enough Said is currently on a 26 game winning streak, won Four championships, has an All-Time record of 69-17 and their last lost was November 19, 2014 which was due to a forfeit because they did not have enough players. This team knows how to win and has proven it over the course of multiple seasons. They also have been through ever nail pressure circumstance that you could even imagine. I believe there has not been anything that this team has not seen or gone through. Enough Said has been at the championship round before but even though this may be true, nervous tension is still in the air. In last week win against Known Shooters, Enough Said won by a critical defensive stop where Ashley Olinger of Known Shooters missed the potential game winner. Enough Said squeezed by that game but were disappointed by there performance and lack of intensity. They looked out matched as well as seemed to have the lack of fire that they normally have. I was shockingly surprise at that low energy that they had as a whole unit. This team for seasons has dominated on the defensive of side of the ball and controlled the pace of the game. For that particular night it looked as if Enough Said had finally met their match. But a lucky free throw bounce here and a loose ball there, got this team back to the championship round. In order for Enough Said to win they will need a big game out of Anthony Brown who is coming off a career low 2 points and 6 rebounds. That is uncharacteristic coming from arguably the best big man in the league.

Team Follies has been wanting this match up all season and battled all year to get here. They won a nail bitter last week against Mumford Returns and won by 2 points. This team is lead by David “I’ll Do Anything To Win” Graham and David “This Is My League” Votta. I am sure they will throw some curve balls against Enough Said to get them off there game. This team is championship caliber and has had this game circle on there calendar all season. Rumor has it that a player from Team Follies stated, “ I would not want to play anybody else for the Championship than Enough Said, it will be bitter sweet beating the 2x defending champs.” Team Follies will have all hands on deck as they will hustle to every loose ball, get a hand out on every shot and play mental games with short fuse Anthony Brown and Marcus Brown. This team knows how to get under their opponents skin and it all start with David “This Is My League” Votta. I expect a monster game out of Chadam “Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold” Cole. He was on the losing end in the championship round last season. His former team, The Spartans had the defending champs on the ropes and felt as if they gave the game away and Enough Said did not earn it. Chadam Cole wants this matchup more than anyone else. This reminds me of the time in the 2012-13 NBA season were, the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs in game 6 of the finials off of the miraculous Ray Allen corner shot. The Spurs gave that championship away and felt that the Heat did not earn it. The next season the Spurs played the Heat in the finials and the Spurs got their revenge. Cole is looking for that revenge tonight.
