WESTMINSTER, CO: Week 7 Preview | The Battle for Supremacy

As the regular season is winding down, we take a look at the Week 7 matchups in Westminster.

The Bad Boys vs. We Goin Sizzler

We Goin Sizzler is a whole new team and have been playing that way as of late. The Bad Boys are still struggling and looking to pull together some wins to gain some momentum heading into the playoffs. This game should be a fairly low scoring one where defense will be emphasized for both teams. Both teams play similar styles of basketball so this should be a tightly contested matchup. This is a winnable game for the Bad Boys but We Goin Sizzler will still go in as the favorites.

Slam Drunk vs. Long Shots

This game is going to be a good one with two very good teams facing off. Long Shots are coming off their first loss last week and Slam Drunk has won 2 in a row since starting winless. Expect this game to go down to the wire as both these teams are very good and have lots of talent at their disposal. The key to victory this week on either team could be whoever makes the most 3 pointers. Both teams have solid big men inside and they will most likely neutralize each other meaning someone is going to have to be hitting the long ball in order for their team to win. This will be one of the better games to watch this week.

Hard Work vs. Impact Basketball

Finally the game everyone has been waiting for. The league's top two teams are battling in this matchup for first place. Hard Work has beat IMPACT basketball the last two times these teams have met but each time Impact Basketball was without one of their best players. The key to victory for Hard Work will be to neutralize Jimmie Binnie and Beau Barney but that is certainly easier said than done. It will take a team defensive effort as neither player could be stopped in a one on one situation. Hard Work has the best depth in the league and that could prove a huge factor as the game wears on. Do NOT miss this game. I repeat. DO NOT MISS THIS GAME.

MonSTARS vs Life Time Legends

If the Lifetime Legends want to win any game this year, this could be their best chance. Still, the MonSTARS are going to be heavy favorites to win this game but you never know what could happen. I wish I could build up this game more but it most likely won't be too exciting.

The Gladiators vs. Hong Kong Diesel

Two teams with lots of scoring power will go head to head in one of the last games of the night. Hong Kong Diesel’s record is not reflective of just how good a team they actually are. The Gladiators have played well this year but chemistry is still a question mark for this team going into the playoffs. They have a lot of playmakers but few role players. That could be their one downfall. If The Gladiators shots are falling they will be hard to be beat but you could say the exact same thing about Hong Kong Diesel. Both teams are evenly sized and will most likely be evenly matched on the court. This will be another exciting game to watch this week.

The Kardashians vs. The Great Unknown

The Kardashians are playing their best basketball right now and the Great Unknown are playing their worst. The Great Unknown has struggled the last few weeks and will need to use this week to get back on the right track before the playoffs start. The Kardashians are playing like the definition of a team and are coming off a week in where 4 players had 20 points or more. If they play like that this week, they will be a very hard team to be beat. The Great Unknown has more talent then they are showing and could be a dangerous team for any who take them too lightly. This should be a good game with two good teams finishing off the string of games tonight.
