With the regular season in the books, it's time for the real basketball to be played. That's right, boys and girls, it's playoff time. Let's take a look at this week's matchups.

The Gladiators Vs. Ignite Athletics

Two teams with very different play styles headline this matchup. The Gladiators played fairly well throughout the year and are coming into the playoffs with a win last week. Ignite Athletics started off the year really well, but have hit a rough patch as of late. If Ignite Athletics has all their players show up, this could be a very close game. The Gladiators can either shoot themselves to the championship or shoot themselves towards a first round match up. This could be a very close game and will be a great one to start off the tournament.

Man Bear Pig Vs. Hoopsters

Hoopsters are coming off an impressive week 9 win, while Man Bear Pig is running into the playoffs full with momentum. Man Bear Pig is the favorite in this match up but Hoopsters have the firepower to pull the upset. If Man Bear Pig plays to their full potential, they are a real contender in this tournament. Hoopsters will rely on the hot hands of their two stars Alec McClain and Richard Peterson. This should be a fast past and high scoring affair.

Slam Drunk Vs. The Great Unknown

This is a very interesting matchup in the fact that both teams have played far lower than expected this year. Both teams are loaded with talent and have played fairly poorly this season much to the surprise of the rest of the league. Slam Drunk certainly has chemistry on their side in this matchup but The Great Unknown certainly has the talent to get the victory. Their first game this year was very close, as should this game be. Expect a hard fought game, going down to the final minutes of the game.

We Goin Sizzler Vs. The Bad Boys

At first glance, this matchup seems fairly one-sided. But history shows that the Bad Boys only show up during the playoffs. We Goin Sizzler is one of the favorites to take the league crown and will go into this game much like every other week, with the intent to win, and to win by a lot. The Bad Boys were far from stellar in the regular season, but the playoffs are their chance to make everyone forget the past 9 games. This game could either be a blowout, or a surprise victory. Either way, this matchup could be exciting.
