As many of you may know the Atlanta leagues are some of the toughest leagues in Ultimate Hoops. As we get ready for Week 6 in Alpharetta we are looking for who will be the team to step up and contend with Max Contracts for a championship.
They seem to be coasting this year with only one real challenging game coming against the reigning Alpharetta Champions Team Follies.
This week our big time match up will come at 5pm, when Enough Said and The Late Starters face off. With both teams looking to have their full rosters on hand this should be the game to watch this week.
Enough Said vs. Late Starters 5pm
This is a very interesting matchup. If Tony Neismith shows up to join the Late Starters that completely changes their team. Enough Said has been playing together for a long time and they know how to control big time players with their size. According to some inside information Enough Said is out in Atlanta tonight celebrating their win prematurely. If they can recover from a night in Buckhead till 3am my prediction is Enough Said by 3.
Team Follies vs. The Farm 5pm
The Farm is learning to play together which can be a tough thing to figure out in a league where teams have been doing just that for years. This will be a hard matchup for The Farm with the leagues leading scorer Kevin Willis, Jr looking to keep putting up big numbers. No team has figured him out yet and we don't expect that to happen anytime soon. Team Follies by 20.
Max Contracts vs. New Rucker Squad 6pm
New Rucker Squad is full of a ton of talent, but this year they don't seem to know how to bring that talent together as a team. Look for Max Contracts to take full advantage of the isolation style play of New Rucker Squad. This game will be a lot closer on paper than in real life. I predict the usual Max Contracts by 15.
